A Modern Twist: Complete Home Renovation in Huntingdon

The client came to us with a home that was ready for a complete overhaul. The brief was to inject a modern twist throughout the property, creating a unique and contemporary space that capitalised on the wonderful countryside views. A key part of this was rethinking the layout to improve the connection between the living areas and the garden.

Our design proposed a radical transformation. The cornerstone of the project was a new, modern rear extension featuring a striking cantilevered roof and clean rendered finish. This created the space to move the kitchen from the front of the house to the rear, establishing a fantastic open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area with panoramic views through new bifold doors.

To further enhance the connection to the outdoors, we added a first-floor balcony accessible from the master bedroom, providing a private space to enjoy the scenery. This was part of a complete home renovation where every single room was redesigned and revamped into a stunning, cohesive space. The project also included the replacement of all windows and doors to improve thermal efficiency and modernise the property's overall aesthetic.

The result is a home completely reimagined for modern family life. The new kitchen extension is now the heart of the home, a light-filled hub that flows seamlessly into the garden. The transformation has not only updated the look and feel of the property but has fundamentally changed how the owners live in and enjoy their space.
